Last Chance for Bellagio – April’s Sisters’ Style Exclusive!
This month has been one of my absolute favorites for the Sisters’ Style Exclusive – the design released by the sisters that founded Jamberry each month. This month’s design has been “Bellagio,” which I have LOVED. It’s a really good design to have in your Jamberry arsenal; it goes with so many other designs that you can really stretch one sheet to last a LONG time! Check out these combos using Bellagio!
A few of my favorite things are colliding this month: my daughter, Jamberry, and Wheaton Montessori school.
This time of year, our little school, filled with amazing kids, holds an auction to help raise funds for school supplies, field trips, extra activities, and tuition help for underprivileged kids. The school was founded by two sisters just a few years ago; their retired parents are now the greeters and work in the office. It’s so nice knowing that my little kiddo has been taken in by a FAMILY to be nurtured, cared for, and guided during the day!
This little school has absolutely changed my little girl’s outlook, even at such a young age. The diversity of the classroom has expanded her horizons and excitement about other cultures, she has a curiosity for the world around her that I envy, and the entire school is such an emotional support system not just for her, but for my entire family. In short, we love our little school and want to help in any way that we can!
So for the month of April, my entire commission will be donated to the Wheaton Montessori School’s annual auction fund. Please consider ordering under the party “Amelia’s School Fundraiser” on my site – you’ll get some great JamSwag, and Amelia’s school will get a little bit of a boost!
And – For every Buy-Three-Get-One-Free order placed, you’ll earn an entry into a raffle for a FREE Mothers’ Day Gift Box! (A $45 retail value – wraps and lacquer shown at left.)
So if you’ve landed on this post, you’ve either searched “Free Jamberry” in a search engine, or you’re already a believer in Jamberry Nail wraps. (Or – you’re REALLY in the wrong place – feel free to stick around!) Good news – there’s a REALLY easy and fun way to get the goods for free.
Did you just say to yourself, “Free Jamberry Product? What’s the Catch?” The catch is that you have to want to have fun. The catch is that you have to want to have fun with your friends. The catch is that you have to have fun with your friends and have great looking nails.
Every direct sales company has some kind of rewards system for their hostesses. It’s the BEST part about being a hostess! Jamberry has a really generous hostess reward program filled with free products, discounts, free shipping, AND the chance to earn credit towards consultant kits. Notice that I said “AND”?? It’s not just a couple of freebies and maybe free shipping on THAT order. On the last party that I just closed out, here’s what the hostess rewards were!
This particular party was a fundraiser for Walk MS, so instead of hostess rewards for the hostess, I’m donating my commission to her Walk MS 5K team. So, for her fundraiser, she raised $110 just by commenting on a few Facebook posts and wearing a free manicure. Not bad for a week of Facebooking, right? Either way you look at it – those amazing FREE JAMBERRY PRODUCTS or a chunk of change for charity, it’s an amazing rewards system. As for me? As a consultant, I love it because it makes it very easy to quickly build up your inventory, try out new products, or stock up for party prizes.
I LOVE this image. It’s so true – even on the worst days when I *think* I brushed my hair, my kids are screaming because one of them *looked* at the other, and I really don’t think I’ll be doing much else besides plug my ears, close my eyes, and hope the laundry goes away. (Pro Tip: That trick doesn’t work. Ever.)
But…my kids are healthy and happy, I’d be able to brush my hair if I remembered to do it, and my kids have enough clothes that the laundry *can* pile up and they’ll still not be naked. (Except for those random times when they just combust into nakedness. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN???)
So Thursday was one of those days for me. But then yesterday… I checked my office site. That Walk MS Fundraiser?? It ended up raising $95 dollars in less than a week for my friend Erica’s 5K team. Then, one of my brand-new teammates, a stay-at-home-mom with two boys, a full-time job, and a fierce love for Jams got her first customer – just by showing how much *she* loved the product. Then… my kids hugged on their dad, said some really funny stuff, and collapsed into silly giggles – my favorite sound in the world. AND – It was Pizza Day at school, so I didn’t even have to make a sack lunch. Not a world-shaking day, but a really nice one!!
So… Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that helped with the Walk MS Fundraiser, congrats to my girl Brandi for getting a fantastic start with Jamberry, and thank you from the bottom of my heart to the elementary school classes for scheduling a Pizza Day for the preschoolers.
I’m so excited to be helping with a Walk MS Jamberry Fundraiser! When we lived out in Connecticut, one of my best friends (shout out to E-Unit!) was involved in the Walk MS event every April. In honor of her cousin with MS, my friend Erica “coaches” and helps organize the team “Tina’s Troopers.” Every year Erica has gotten more and more involved with the organization and fundraising aspects and the team’s participation and dedication has been incredibly inspiring to see!
I asked Erica to tell me why the Walk MS Jamberry Fundraiser and the Walk MS cause in particular are so important to her.
In Erica’s words, “We walk for (my) cousin, Tina, who has been fighting MS for many years. I first heard about Walk MS in 2005 and decided to walk with my mom and aunt. Since then we have been building our MS walk team and as well as participating in various MS events all to raise money to try and find a cure for this debilitating disease. Not only is the cause dear to my heart, but the people at the MS Society make it even more rewarding with their kindness, enthusiasm and dedication.”
For the Walk MS Jamberry Fundraiser, 20% of all proceeds will be donated to Team Tina’s Troopers for the MS Walk event this April. Want to have pretty nails AND feel GREAT about your purchase?? Order in the fundraiser and 20% will go to the National MS Society!
