My little girl just picked an enormous bouquet of these beauties for me. Combine that with sunshine, sidewalk chalk, and good breeze and it makes the perfect day!
The first few days of the month are always pretty big for Jamberry – new hostess exclusives, Sisters’ Style Exclusives, and Stylebox designs are all announced!
Kick off June – Between the Lines!
This month’s Sisters’ Style Exclusive is REALLY cute – and can be styled for anyone’s tastes. Want something subtle? Wear it on its own for a fun play on neutral. Headed to a wedding? Layer it on top of a pretty pastel! Or are you like me and the more color in your life, the better? Check this out!
I love the layered look! Which do you prefer? Want the look? Get it here!
Are your ready for summer at the pool?? Jamberry wraps hold up to sun, surf, sand, and… chlorine. It’s a simple way to get a long-lasting look for summer – without shelling out a ton of cash at the salon!
Today is my kiddo’s last FULL day of school for the year. After today, I’ll have a full-fledged Kindergartner on my hands. I am absolutely amazed. It really does seem like it’s flown by. Everyone tells you that when you’re pregnant, and most of the time you can keep yourself from rolling your eyes. But it’s so true. Even thinking that about Henry starting preschool in the Fall makes me wonder where in the world my babies went!
So June = Let the Good Times Roll
Amelia will be home from school for the summer – the first time in two years! (We had her in a summer program most mornings the last two summers.) So far, we’re raising ladybugs, planning tea parties and fairy-garden-planting parties, trips to the pool, frog-catching, fishing, four different camping expeditions, and three campfires – don’t forget the marshmallows. And that’s *just* what Amelia and Henry have planned for us during their Team Toddler Huddle.
So for today, I’m enjoying some quiet time to start my June!
As I said, today is Amelia’s last full day. Which is giving me some time to catch up and plan ahead!
What are YOUR plans for the summer? Any good tips for super active, fun-loving, hilarious and slightly prone-to-maiming-each other kiddos?
I am a major color-focused person. The brighter and more saturated, the better. I love neutrals – but mostly because a bold color shows up all the more against them!
One of my favorite color combos has had a major fashion comeback lately. I’ve always loved the color combo of corals and blues – it just screams, “SUMMER!” Lucky for me, it seems like “trend” is here to stay in the fashion industry.
Don’t want to just take my color-crazed word for it? From Decoist.com:
With bright oranges making a grand comeback…, coral is the ideal color for those who wish to join in on the trend…! While bubbly Tangerine has been dubbed the in color by some, coral is a refreshing alternative that is far more elegant and equally vibrant.
See that? Elegant and vibrant. Basically, my middle names. (Except no.)
Bring on Summer with COLOR!
I’ve written about Jamberry’s Nail Art Studio before (and you can see my designs under “Custom Designs” at the top of the page!). I’ve had several of the designs printed out, but when they got here, I just couldn’t cut into them. But finally… I got this in the mail:
I know, I know. It doesn’t look like much there. Just some orange and blue blobs, right? I needed to change my nails (the color polka dots were fun, but if my 5-year-old thinks they’re too young for me…). I had these on my counter. The day is once again gray and cold.
So I took the plunge and put these on for my next set of Jams. Result? Instant cheer, instant summer vibe!
I’m really happy with how they printed – and even happy with how the design translated to nail wraps. That’s a sentence I never thought I’d utter!
